My good friend Marcus "Ossoduro" Vinicios of Axe Capoeira will be competing in an MMA fight in his native Brazil tomorrow night. Marcus faces the reportedly 14-0 Thawa Riz (online databases don't have it this way, but as Marcus has told me before, a lot of fight action goes on in Brazil that never gets reported).

Marcus is sadly dealing with the death of his good friend Negao, which took place only yesterday, but in the vein of our mutual friend Cesar Narita, he has chosen to fight on in the memory of his lost loved one.

I think I can speak for MMA fans and fighters all over Vancouver when I say that we're rooting for ya, Ossoduro!
